About Me.

My work focuses on capturing the raw, remote beauty of northern landscapes; Spaces rich with ecological value, cultural history, and untold stories. Through high-quality photography and careful post-production, I aim to create visuals that not only inspire but inform. I specialize in capturing breathtaking moments in hard-to-reach and rugged landscapes, places with stories, silent histories, and ecological treasures. Each image i create is crafted with intention: to educate others about local ecosystems, promote conservation, and celebrate indigenous history and culture. I aim to inspire curiosity, foster environmental stewardship, and evoke a sense of wonder and responsibility in every viewer. As someone living with stereo blindness (2D Vision) i have developed a uniquely intuitive way of seeing the world.  Without depth perception, I rely on atmosphere, texture, and contrast to create compelling images. Whether documenting wildlife rehabilitation efforts, showcasing the magic of the North, or capturing intimate portraits in nature-rich settings, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that matter.

Schooling

From an early age, photography has been a constant thread in my life. Growing up in the Elk Valley, surrounded by mountains, I learned to see beauty through the lens with the guidance of my father, also a photographer. In high school at George Elliot Secondary, I studied traditional photography techniques in a darkroom, which gave me a strong foundation in composition and visual storytelling. Later, I pursued formal training at the Centre for Arts and Technology (CATO), earning a digital photography degree under the mentorship of professionals such as Victor Porier, Grant Robinson, and Jad Warde. These experiences shaped both my technical skills and my creative approach, teaching me to harness equipment as a tool for artistic expression.

Magazines

My photography has been featured in both print and online media. I appeared in Scratch Magazine and was also published in online platforms such as La Modele and Mavis Magazine. These opportunities gave my work a wider audience and connected me with broader artistic communities. Additional features in regional outlets — including social media and local press — further showcase the versatility of my work across different formats.

Real Estate & Branding

Beyond fine art photography, I have applied my skills in commercial and branding contexts. While working with DKRA Real Estate, I developed property photography that highlighted the character and value of spaces, ensuring visual storytelling played a role in marketing. I also partnered with Freddy’s Brewpub, producing branded imagery for their promotions and online presence. This work allowed me to merge creativity with practical business needs, delivering images that engaged audiences and strengthened brand identity.
